Frequently asked questions, Questions 1 to 5

I've spilled red wine on marble and it has marked the surface; is there anything you can do? |
Yes, we can help. Because food and drinks are acidic, they will etch into marble or other stone surfaces if left. We can remove the stains for you as well as provide several sealing options and advice to help prevent further stains. In the event of a food or drink spill always blot it up immediately (wiping can spread the problem), and then neutralise with water and dry buff. |

The tiles on my floors are dirty and the grout has gone black; can you get the dirt out? |
With our deep cleaning process we can remove the toughest and deepest of stains from most types of tiles and grout, and in many cases they can be restored to their original condition and colour. In many cases we have been successful after other companies have tried and failed. Contact us for reference details. |

My limestone tiles are stained and I want to prevent dirt from getting in to the tiles; are you able to help? |
Yes we can help. Our deep cleaning process to remove staining followed by the application of a sub-surface penetrating sealer will isolate most liquids and stains from penetrating deeply into the limestone tiles. This will not affect the look or texture of your floor and will allow you time to clean up any spills before heavy staining can take place. |

I have a natural stone floor, not sure what type but I wish the stone had a darker look; can you do anything for that? |
We are able to apply a special sealer that creates a ‘wet look' surface, which is generally two shades darker than the natural stone itself. |

I had some marble installed about 3 years ago and it has lost its gloss; are you able to restore it? |
Yes we are able to restore the ‘gloss' in your marble. We are able to provide deep cleaning and re-polishing processes that will treat the surface of the marble and will also improve the gloss finish. |
