Some tile surfaces are prone to becoming slick, especially when wet, and causing slip and fall accidents. This hazard can be at least reduced, and at best removed completely, by acid etching the surface to create a Non-Slip result. Non-Slip Application in itself is a hazardous procedure, so Slique technicians use extremely stringent safety measures. Upon completion, to the top surface of the tile will be slightly etched to vastly improve the slip co-efficient. |
The treatment will be invisible on matt or textured surfaces, however high-shine surfaces will be lose some of their gloss. Slique requests that if you are undertaking a Non-Slip Application treatment to comply with regulations, you establish the exact coefficient of friction rating that you are required to achieve. |
